With the addition of government ranks and titles in Common Sense it became possible to further differentiate various countries of the world, even if only in flavour. It's possible to define conditions based on government form, primary culture or culture group or even simply by tag.
Several countries already make use of the system, having personalised ruler titles, e. g. Austria (Archduchy), Ragusa (Rector), the Teutons (Hochmeister) or Hedjaz (Sharif).
I'd like to suggest to expand the practice on other countries for flavour and personalisation.
Being a European, it makes sense for me to start with some European rank 1 countries and rulers first:
‣ Germany
Brandenburg, Baden, Ansbach — Magraviate, Margrave
Hesse, Thuringia — Landgraviate, Landgrave
Palatinate — County (Palatine), Count (Palatine)
Anhalt — Principality, Prince
Nassau, Oldenburg, Holstein*, Holland, East Frisia — County, Count
* (Holstein was a county until 1474, Schleswig has always been a duchy though but it's Holstein that's the „primary“ title in-game)
‣ France
Champagne, Picardy**, Armagnac, Toulouse, Nevers, Provence***, Foix, Hainaut — County, Count
Dauphiné — County (of Albon), Dauphin (of Viennois)
** (because of Artois, Picardy has never been a country in its own right)
*** (Anjou and Bar were duchies and Provence and Maine were counties; it might make sense though for Provence to stay a duchy if it's still the „primary“ title in-game)
‣ Italy
Mantua (until 1530, then duchy), Montferrat — Margraviate, Margrave
