It's ai Ottomans. I decided to hand them a bunch of techs and this is the result hehe. Strange tho as nobody declares on them, not that I mind that as it'd ruin them to have bb wars.

So, more of this behaviour in ai files(if theirs is special somehow to spark this), to many dormant sleeping countries around.

You know what's even more strange? I edited the save files and increased the BB of the USA (I was playing) in steps of ten until I reached a BB of 200. Yet, there were no wars. I am starting to think, that the concept of BB-Wars has been changed or is gone completely.

Do you have a huge army? If so you can have a huge BB score, but no one will dare to atack you.

I think it also has something to do with who borders you; if a country isn't bordering you, it doesn't care much about your BB rating as a cause for declaring war.

In the savegame; along with the other info stored for you country, near the top of your country's section in the savegame.

But with paradox games you are supposed to be in them if you want thats the beauty.
just when you exit don't save changes unless you want to modify the situation.

easy way to locate you bb in it is a ctrlF for find put in ai = { then hit enter until you see your country tag just above this. then change your search requirement to badboy and hit enter 1 time, if you have a badboy rateing it will show you it if not it will take you to the next country with a badboy rateing and show theirs. you can change the setting to search for ai = { again and then change it to search upwards, then go 1 line up after your first search and if it says your country tag you know that was your badboy rateing.

As mellow says, there are worse files to look at than the Paradox game-files

Personally, my understanding of the game is a lot higher because of looking at the game-files directly.

well that can work but the problem is with the diplomatic info and country tags listed at the start of the game but either way will work.
