the genoese army of 15k was defeted NOOOOO Kerch is falling and all seemed lost then the corsican army of 2k (infantary) beat the sweadish of 15k (we rock) but with a navy of 10/2/4 and 2k of army it looks bad very bad... all will be revealed later

War had killed Genoa ever since 1420 there had only been 7 years of peace. Genoa had suffered to no end by this, And when it needed peace the most… it was at war with 2 alliances… but look on the bright side we where still the best naval fighting nation on the globe…but for how long will ten warships be able to stop over whelming numbers of enemies… NOT LONG…
It was time to pull our socks up!
The year 1468 went well with a monopoly in Liguria the Genoese eco seemed to be getting back on track…
Then a great naval victory against Sweden ended the northern wars. And Genoa could go back to controlling trade…
But this peace only lived 4 years… why?… it was time to go kick Venice’s ass again!
The 2nd merchant war was not something to laugh at it once again showed the randomization of the Genoese armed forces… as in the Swedish war the Navy won most battles and the army had some big loses but here it was the new model army that came to the rescue and the navy was sent to the bottom of the Crete coast … but all this happens near the end! At the beginning a great naval victory was what made hope for Genoa.
It may be against Sweden but they where on Venice’s side now and so they where an enemy again. But the war with Venice went well Crete and Corfu fell then it happernd the new Genoese fleet of 15 warships 10 galleys and 4 transports met with the Venetian fleet of 20 warships 12 galleys and 2 transports the battle seemed hopeless but never the less we had to stop this fleet at all costs… that was just it ALL COSTS! The fleet was sunk (that’s our fleet!)
Even though the war ended quite soon with 102 gold’s going to Genoa 50 of that going to the rest of the Venice’s alliance to keep peace!
But now the Genoese looked towards France and Savoy for land rich land! But first the Genoese armed forces would have to rebuild!

“Hello how are you my old friend what’s the news” said Marino
“oh my, my old friend Marino its been at least 2 years” said Gonzales de Corsica

“they already attacked one of our merchant huts what if they you know… do it again”
“im shore they wont lets see our trading spot then”
“Ok but watch our step the French haven’t invented toilets yet.”
Marino looks at his friend worryingly
“HELP” cries a man in Genoese Italian.
“WHAT WAS THAT” shouts Marino pulling out his long sword.
“SOME ONE GENOESE” shouts Gonzales
“HELP HELP NO PLEASE NO”
“they’ve jammed the door shut MEN”
“YES sir” shout four Genoese sailors with harquebus
“FIRE AT THIS DOOR” shouts Marino
“HELPPPPP ARRRGGGGHHHH AEEGHH” shouts a man inside
A woman screams inside
“Hurry” shouts Gonzales “that’s our hut they’ve attacked our h-h-ut” the old man starts to cry as his life’s dream is crumbling In front of him.
Bang, BANG, piiisssssssssssBANg, pow as the four harquebusiers fire there guns.
“one two three… push” shouts Marino
There’s a crack as the door breaks
“draw men” BANG! A gun goes off BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG four more guns go off Marino and his men fall. the last thing Marino sees is a Young woman with blood coming out of her mouth. Gonzales was killed after. The French would regret this move a lot and they did 1 and a half years later they did with the fall of Provence 2 days later England made peace, and unlike the years with Tuscany, we got Provence, we where now a 3 province kingdom finally Genoa was waking up from its medieval nightmare.
But then in the year 1494 a war that was going to touch Genoas week underbelly (its land defence!) started was this going to through Genoa back into darkness when it was just seeing light

im getting a good amount of updates now cos i dont have much Home work lucky me :rofl: and with it raining its the only thing to do

There's a schedule the French keep to: Invade Italy starting in 1494. It should be Milan, but as long as it is in Italy the ai seems quite happy. Good luck with your war.

War with France should be interesting. Best of luck, BTW if Savoy isnt their ally if you can keep your navy up they should have a hard time getting to you... (Dont think France normally has an amazinly powerful Navy then)
i would have continued but i live in france and go to school here so basicly that tells you how evil my teachers are abd how much homework i get so ill try to play a bit soon and its like my signature says!
