Here is some new eye candy from the Simtropolis Q&A, and here's the link to the Q&A: http://community.simtropolis.com/to...out-cities-skylines-with-paradox-interactive/
You should go check it out, it has some good info for us to chew on. (the pics here aren't all of them from the Q&A. Just the tasty ones).

Alright... BRING ON THE PICTURES!

This might be part of the waterfall city.

It looks a bit like night time here. And it also seems to have the desert theme... huh...

Remember this waterfall city? Here's some more!

I LOVE that elevated rail there. It looks so cool, weaving in and out of the dense city.

Yeah, that's exciting stuff- After there are more buildings added, it's going to be spectacular.

I will be spending months alone just making maps- imagine a "cascade" of waterfalls and other things.. The potential for this game is huge.

I know CO said this is city builder and not transportation game, but I hope they take some time to make public transport as it is in CiM just with types of transport. It could be awesome to have elevated rail station for example or in center have underground metro and out of center on-ground metro system. That could be nice. I hope they'll make it one day.

I'd be more than happy to see the 'Pimp My Ride' DLC with all these things and more. I'd like to see the whole of CIM2 gameplay/functionality added into the game. Also, in that 'get off my lawn' thread, I read about the idea of being able to walk, drive, and take rides on public transport around the city; that sounds like a fantastic idea!

I love the advertisement in the last picture. I hope that it will be something that changes and that not all buildings of the same type will have the same ad-boards. If they include ad-boards that are different between all buildings and includes an option for us to add our own ads to some sort of library then it is something that can do wonders for the game. Small things like that can be a good and easy way to counter repetitiveness. And it adds realism. :)

I have a question. Does that incredibly large building in the third picture serve a purpose, or is that just eye candy as well? I've seen it in most of the screenshots thus far.

I love the first and last screenshots. Based on the pics which appeared in the dev diary about themes, I thought I would never bother using the Tropical theme. But these latest screenshots make it look much more appealing.

Thanks for the link to the Simtropolis Q&A!

Those first two pictures are mindblowing. The bendyness of the roads and how elegant they merge with the terrain is amazing. (as opposed to a certain other citybuilder where the terrain was constantly clipping through the roads)
Do you mind talking a little about how you did that? Are the roads 3Dmodels on top of the terrain or are they actually part of the terrain?

Can't wait for release!, thanks.

I was on Simtropolis a few hours ago and started wondering, where is the Cities:Skylines sub forum? Didn't realize it was at the top, bumped Simcity right off the top on a simcity forum.

I think it's one of the plop-able skyscrapers. I'm pretty sure it's functional but don't quote me on it.
