For people with royal court and friends & foes, does anyone feel like events are sometimes clunky?
If you Hold Court in Royal Court after clicking the hold court button, and then the decision, you then have an event to ask you if you do actually wish to hold court or not. Is this completely necessary in terms of coding? Pilgrimages have a cancel option within, but that's because at any positive income you can go on one, and the expected price of a holy site might be more than you can handle at the time, making the cancel option desirable, but I can't see a use in Hold Court where if you cant afford 300 gold for a cadastral survey you just choose the other option. You additionally have the end hold court event which while nice for its writing means another event to click every 5 years or so you hold court that is unchanging, with paradox highly promoting the hold court feature due to the renown you can farm from it and it being 1 of the 2 main features from the dlc
In Friends and Foes, if you're feuding with a house, you get an event after killing the house head asking if you wish to continue, you then get an event asking if because there's a new house head if you wish to continue the feud or not, if the opposing house asks you to end it you may yet again have to say you wish to continue it.
If your player has certain traits you can get stress up the wazoo from these 3 back to back events (much like how family member dying gives stress, and if your child you get more stress via an event), but I'm also having to say yes 3 times
What are people's thoughts, should this be more streamlined, is this all hardcoded?
