I really love reviving the Frankish culture with custom characters but there are only 2 dynasty/house names defined for it. So nobles joining my court have always the same names  Even with shared naming customs via hybrid culture those two seem to make up for 25% each :/
The fix would be quite simple: plz add some more dynasty names to the Frankish name list :D
I know that the history fanatics are easily angered and the historical Frankish dynasty information is rare because it was a Carolingian family business ;) (and pre "modern" nobility)
But a few -ing dynasties wouldn't hurt - the newly landed nobles get cool dynasty names anyways - so it is basically only for the courtiers.

Don't mean to gravedig but just wanted to add some suggestions for (historic) dynastic names to this thread, for easy inclusion:

- Etichonid
- Agilofing
- Arnulfing
- Widonid
- Popponid
- Nibelungid
- Unruochid
- Robertine

Additional dynasties names could by adding by adding the suffixes -id, -ing, -ingian or -ine to historical Frankish given names such as Grimoald (Grimoalding), Ebroin (Ebroinid), Wulfoald (Wulfoalding), etc. etc. Largely the same practices would work for Frisian and other old Germanic dynastic names. Examples:

- Folcwalding (Folcwald, Frisian)
- Gerulfing (Gerulf, Frisian but would also work as Frankish)
- Aldgisling (Frisian)
- Liudolfing (Old Saxon)
- Hattonid (Old Saxon)

A lot of these names could potentially be shared amongst each other as there were a lot of exchanges between these cultures and to be frank, I can understand if the developers don't have time to spend too much time on dynastic names for cultures that have gone extinct by the start of the game. So making such additions could simply consist of a common list shared among extinct West-Germanic cultures.
