First of all I don't know a thing about coding nor game design so I don't know if this possible to implement or even balanced at all, but here it goes.
The Dutch Republic mechanic is interesting and so on, but I have some ideas on how to make it more so.

I've been able to keep my Republican Tradition at almost maxed the whole time even with Orangists in power thanks to the increase from power projection.
So if the Orangists canditate stays in power for, with alot of luck, maybe for 40-60 the republican tradition will still stay in the 80-100 range.
Which in my opinion is abit odd considering that any other repbulic that kept the same guy for even 20 years would be on the brink of falling into a despotic monarchy.
So in my opinion Dutch Republic should lose tradition as long as the Orangists stay in power. I don't know by how much, maybe by -2 instead of the current -1 which keeps the tradition as almost stable, with a minor yearly increase. But since this does increase the stability cost modifier slowly the bonus -10% for stability cost modifier might want to be changed.
If Netherlands was formed by a monarchy the Dynasty that was in power will be the dynasty from which the Orangist canditates will be chosen from. Maybe also give the option to change the dynasty to Orange-Nassau just for flavor reasons. Also limit the Royal Marriage option to only when the Orangists are in power.

But since this does, as some say, nerf the DR abit there's something suggestions that I'd like to make. Make Dutch Republic be treated as a monarchy aslong as the Statists are in power. As in allow it to share dynasties and form personal unions. If the Orangist dynasty dies out and you have Royal Marriages the Orangist canditate's dynasty will change and it will begin to share a dynasty a dynasty with another dynasty. And if the Orangists are in power and there's no heir as a canditate Nehterlands might fall under a personal union with another country as long as the Orangists stay in power and if the Staists somehow regain power the Netherland will revolt. If they succeed maybe change the Orangists canditate's dynasty to Orange-Nassau.
Also make the Dutch Republic be able to become the HRE Emperor aslong as the Orangists are in power. Since the repbulic doesn't have any legitimacy there might be a little problem here, but other nations might treat the inverse of the republican tradition as the legitimacy of the orangist ruler.
Oh and as a last note make the Revolution in Holland event require that the orangists are in power.

That's about it. I'd just like to hear peoples' opinions on this.
