My army is fully maintained, but each time i enter a battle with the neatherlends in my current war with them, my army's morale instantly becomes half, even though i attack with full morale. we both have a general (mine is 1 star theirs' is 2), the tech difference is 1 for them but we both have muskets already. I attack with 2x+ more troops than they have. Is this a glitch or am I missing something?

Thanks!

Check your total morale and theirs.
If they have vastly more than you this is normal (in battle the moral bar is scaled to the highest morale in the fight)

As in your full morale is 4 and theirs is 7 or something

Go to the ledger and look at army quality. Check their morale and then check yours.

So this time, the maximum morale was the same for both of us, 4.99, but the moment the battle started my army's morale switched to 3. something, while theirs remained full

Do you have army maintenance lowered?
maintainance is full, i just realized i was wrong about the tech i have 13 and they have 15, but would it cause my morale to keep insta dropping? even after i defeat them and i chase their army and attack them when their morale is almost 0 this keeps happening, even tho i outnumber them even 3 to 1

The "max morale" shown on the battle screen is the morale of the highest morale army involved in the battle, not the actual max morale of any particular army. So if you have 3 morale and they have 5 morale, "max morale" is 5, even though your armies could never have higher than 3. Why? I dunno, but that's how it works.

To get an accurate read on your morale, yeah, you need to go to your military tab - or check the ledger (which also shows the enemy's morale.)

And never, NEVER, lag to tech 15.
