Hello, im new to the AAR scene but i have played some few CK campaign (none completed yet) but im planning to start a Moor 1066 scenario campaign and i just wanted to hear your meanings about this project.

Well there aren't many Moor/Muslim CK AAR's out yet, so you at least walking on new grounds. What type of AAR do you want to write ? Gameplay, historybook, comedy, characterbased ?

I have just read through Judas Maccabeus great AAR "After Hastings: A weekly report from England", which i really like. So i guess im going to aim for an AAR like that, thoug im totally inexperienced doing graphics like battle maps and so.

I guess i am also going to focus alot of the Berber/Norther Arabic medieval states history, before the AAR´s actual timeline, to give some sort of introduction to the history. Also i would like to roleplay alot, instead of just going on a killing spree.

I would be pleased if you eventually want to help me in the beginning, or give some good advices for a rookie CK player and writer.

I'll be watching. As for writing I think I can help too. For graphics, you might want to take a look at CrackdToothGrin's Map-making with Photoshop.

For the battle maps, I have a tutorial starting here and continuing for the next three pages. But your best bet is simply experimentation with whatever you feel like. Don't be afraid to use something of lower quality if it helps you become better in the end. There's a huge quality difference between my first battle map at Taroudant and the last one at Savigny...
