The neutral squid things that you encounter sometimes and which give you the useless energy siphon are technically cows, in some sense. I'm honestly disappointed that nothing much more is done with them.

What they resemble and are called by Humans is opinion.
Consider also that evolution changed their appearance from their primitive four legged ancestors.
But yeah, he(she?) could be analogous to a goat also.
Goats are in the same Order of Bovines: Artiodactyla
