Having played Moo and Moo2, I still enjoyed Moo3, I did like the concepts they were trying, with the habitability zones for each race and multiple biomes per planet ,the over funding for additional effort and such.
Seemed to world well making Farm worlds feeding everyone else, feeding mining world, feeding Industrial worlds.
The Invasion idea or picking different tactical and where you authorised NCB weapons, and that fleet set up was geared towards having picket ships with eyes, a point defence escort and then the Capital ships with the anti-big ship guns
