hi, i play as ottos and have more than 20 monuments and i started to upgrade a few of them at the same time. 5-6 years passed and i didnt remember which ones i was upgrading. so i clicked every single one, one by one to find which ones i was upgrading which is frustrating.

so here a suggestion; how about different map color for monuments and/or great projects which are under construction? or you can simply draw parallel lines like occupied provinces on map mode.

thx in advance.

There is a slight colour difference in Great Projects mapmode when two monuments are different tiers to each other. The problem is that they are all shades of green, when it would be so much better if they were traffic light colours instead!

yes thats another thing but there is no indication for monuments under construction. you know building them takes tens of years.

for example;

tier 0 monuments; red
tier 1 monuments; orange
tier 2 monuments; dark green
tier 3 monuments could be light green

just like tech mode. and the ones under construction could be parallel lines like occupied provinces.

While I clearly like your suggestion there is a little construction symbol on a province while a monument is being upgraded, the same as when a normal building is being built. Hope this helps a little bit, your suggestion is still superior.

clicking every province is still better because you dont have to zoom in/out to check that constraction icon every time :S you can not see that icon from far away right? :)

They care if it gets enough upvotes. Currently the suggestion has 5 upvotes (including mine just added).

i -and lots of people- wanted pdx to add an alert for expiring warnings for years and they recently (last 2 years) added lots of features, alerts, map modes but they didnt add pretty this easy alert. this is not rocket science since there are lots of meaningless warnings in the game like "your diplomatic insult cb is about to expire" alert is 10x less important for "your warning(s) are about to expire".

i always load the game if let's say; hungary attacked wallachia while i am busy with mamluks because my warning on hungary got expired because i wasnt alerted. how could you remember exact month after 20 years lol.

let's just hope what can i say more...

This is a 10/10 pretty easy but really helpful QoL suggestion.

Being pretty colour blind, I'd prefer a mapmode with icons (think like Cardinals) flanked by a number to show which tier it's on -- 0, 1, 2, 3; and maybe barred lines if construction is currently ongoing. Colours are good, but I fear for me even "traffic light" colours would tend to blur together unless Paradox makes them way more brilliant and saturated than seems to be their wont.
