The people of Normany never had any pretensions to independence, and the dukes of Normandy have always been the rulers of the country controlling it since Robert Curthose (deposed in 1100). And they should be controlled by Anjou in the beginning, not England.

So would Normandy be a vassel of Anjou, or completely owned and controlled by Anjou? Thanks for clearing this up.

Hey guys I'm back. I think that I won't give Normandy a tag for now, but it could happen later on in development. Rest of the changes logged.

I`m finished with design of Polish principalities and the following will make it into game:

Poland (unified country, representant of the duke that owned Krakow at the given time) - POL
Masovia - APA
Silesia - DAK
Pommerania - POM
Wielkopolska ("Great-Poland")
Gdansk (or Kashubia, Kashuben, Pommerellen, Gdansk-Pommerania... none is a very suitable name... Duchy of Gdansk seems best to me)

So I need 2 additional tags for Wielkopolska and Gdansk

I noticed a tag for Aileach, and also one for Ulster. They are basically one and the same I believe. Please check with Judas on this, to make sure.

I think that somewhere in this thread he said that we should have a seperate tag for each.

Aileach and Ulster were completely different countries, but we could merge the tags--if you don't mind having the country called Ulster before 1204.

It does seem kind of like a waste. Besides it is in a province called Ulster. Just mention that it was Aileach until 1204 in the country history.

I'll remove Aileach from the list for now.

As far you didn`t have it already, tags for Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia, walachia, Byzantium, Albania and Moldavia need to be kept.

Additions/adjustments:

1. I need 2 tags for Croatia - one for Dalmatia and one for Slavonia. One of both can be Croatia for my part so 1 idditional needed.

2. I need additional tag for Zeta

3. I need additional tag for the Kumans

4. I will possibly need one more tag for Petchengs

Sweden, Norway, Denmark (and as said, Pagan baltic tribes) Novgorod, Iceland (possibly), And also the Hansa (although how that should be represented I do not know) Gotland should be it's own state though (with a CoT, since there will be none in Svealand) It ought to be vassalized by Sweden though (the status of Gotland was as a semi-independent peasant republic loosley affilitade with Sweden + Visby as a free Hansa city that paid taxes to Sweden (and later Denmark)

EDIT: Since this is a flag thread too apparently... Gotland's flag looks like THIS:

as to Hansa I think it is best to treat it like paradox did in gc: don`t include it. It was a economic union of cities and if we were to include all the provinces in it would become probably the biggest european empire

as to cot`s: perhaps a good moment to start discussing those indeed. It is a problem that the game requires a minimum amount of cot`s at the start as most of those citis shouldn`t get them before a certain date.

Finally: I`m also adding lots of countries to the game, but let not forget that there is a maximum on it and we should consider whether a country really should be included. i`m now already affraid we will have to cut in it eventually. And I still need a few additional countries (a few for Russia, some for baltics)

Some areas simply could do without (Indonesia area, Americas, sub-saharan africa....) Also remember that some empires (Mughals, Persia, Spain) won't exist yet.

About the flags and shields etc. what I meant was that I would mark it down once it had actually been made into a usable format. Don't actually post the flags themselves here.
