Is this what you see using mongol faces dlc? I think children faces should be different and more realistic..

They used to be more realistic, but on last patch they changed to that for me too. Rest of the mongols are ok, only children became like this.
While I have nothing against the Mongol child portraits, those have completely different art style than rest of the portraits. I also wondered this, when I first saw those portraits, but it's not a big issue since those are just placeholder images and actual Mongol adult portraits don't have that art style.
It's not as if the other child portraits are realistic. They're all exactly the same. Really, they're not "portraits" at all, it's just an abstract icon telling you that this particular character is not yet 16+.
I would say they are more of a "portraits" than the adult character "portraits". Adult character "portraits" are more like 2D models.
They already had a standard mongol child fill in, why did they change it to this for no reason?
I really like the new children portraits. I'd honestly prefer the adult Mongols to have similar portraits since it makes the Mongols look even more distinct and dignified, especially since they are currently the #1 threat in the game (#2 is the Fatimids obviously). Also their current adult portraits look rather lumpy imo.
guys i see that most of you did not like "realistic" word. Let's say it is different art style than all other portraits and I do not understand the reason of this difference. they all should be same art style, and they were already so.
While I like the new portraits they do not follow the already established art style. So I would prefer if they changed the mongol child protraits to something which does.
They certainly don't match the art style, but if the alternative is to go back to the ugly old Mongol child graphics, then I would prefer to stick with the ones we have. At least they actually look like Mongolian children. Now if only we also had adult Mongol graphics that actually looked like Mongols.
I can't say I had anything against the previous Mongol child portraits, nor can I say I saw any complaints on the forum for that matter, but it did seem odd to me that the change brought in a completely different art style for Mongol children. I actually thought I was using a mod that had changed them to this, turns out it's vanilla.
Atleast you have Mongol faces, i bought the dlc and the stupid thing doesn't show mongol faces on my Mac :angry:
So you're saying you dislike how the Mongols look because they look different?
Have you tried reinstalling the DLC? If you have gamers gate go to the little Coin store ingame. There is a Reinstall option.
Oh my Science, people complain about the portraits because they're ugly, now they don't follow the art style... next they look TOO fucking good!
Really, cause I never saw anyone complain.
Glad to see this is a universal thing... the fact that its so dramatically different is annoying. But whatever, just Mongols.
i persoanlly like the new one very much. wish theyd make all protraits in that style
I think the problem people have with them is that they're just so different. Maybe if it was the standard art style for all Mongols including adults, but it does seem arbitrary and out-of-place to only be applied to Mongol children.
I hope this is just a placeholder while they make better mongol children. It looks really odd for this art style to only be used here.
