Hey all, my first post here.

I have to say that I don't understand all of the anger towards people who are upset over this. I mean, I am disappointed as well but I have not bought the game yet. I decided to wait but if I had bought it, I too would be seeking a refund. In all fairness, I don't think a refund would be processed the same day. Which would be today seeing how this is the first business date past Friday. Either way, I'm hoping for the best and waiting for hte game to be corrected and then I'll get it.

I do think that some of you diehards should stop trolling those upset. They have a valid reason to be angry. They should not have released the game knowing it was done. That was a horrible management decision. That really shows they have little respect and integrity.

Um, did you just get here? Since friday it's been almost universal anger. At this point, the OP is having the community collectively roll their eyes at him because he's apparently enraged the patch was not out as soon as he woke up, and hasn't done the steps to actually get a refund yet (but is still mad anyway because that means no instant refund?).

So everybody goddamn chill or I'm going to get all bent out of shape and bend some steel beams to get the aggression out.

I did that. I got a confused reply from a employee that didnt know of any refund offer.

Nope, not the entire thread, just pointing out that many of your points have been addressed I beleive in one way or another:
Refund, takes time to deal with the shenanigans regarding everything involved, CD key, distributor and such.
Patch, 'Monday is 24 hours' was my response, others have better ones.

plus I was posting in threads TRYING to play the game. Once I got to a point where I couldnt anymore (and in fact since I havent been able to start a game because the game CTDs every time I hit confirm) I stopped and started looking into a refund.

Notably, as many people have noticed, but you've done in numerous times while posting how they 'lied' to you and 'scammed' you, which does tend to grate people's nerves when you've heard it enough. If anything they are just displacing their anger on you, because, you are annoying and 2, everyone else seems to be doing so.

As for getting kicked out by the bouncer, Im not certain Ive violated enough rules TO get banned yet but once I have, Ill leave. Ive so far learned that just cause theres no filter doesnt mean you can swear.

Did have trolling intention here, but it was more of an analogy on how this thread if done in the real world would have likely panned out.

You should just both calm down, sit down with a quality cigar and some nice ice or dessert wine, and some fine cheeses or a nice dessert to go with it.

Calm down.

Not much into smoking and as much as I wouldn't mind a nice solid beer, I'm on campus waiting in betweeen lectures.

EDIT: While finishing writing this, the game got an update, I wonder if it is the patch we were waiting for.

No, I understand, I'm just not much on cigars.
I like ice wines, and wines in general, but usually I prefer Scotch as a nice drink to 'chill' with.

Edit: I do see your point though, but, to be honest, I haven't been 'miffed' throughout the entire thing. If anything I've been enjoying this with a nice cup of coffee. Sort of like a debate moreso than anything else.

Been in many bars, never been in a bar where I wa sone of many people, yelling cause we're pissed, and was singled out and kicked out tho. Strange places you visit I guess

According to Mecron they've locked one of the coders in a cage with the sound bugs, and only one of them gets to leave. So I'd expect that to be sorted lately.

And I for one welcome our new bug overlords.
