Japan
Yet another great session for the Japanese Co-Prosperity Sphere.
After initial setbacks in Florida, The IJA and it's allies (mainly Brazil and Italy later on) pushed further out of Florida, reaching out for Biloxi in the west and Virginia in the north. Washington is only 600 kms away.
After a series of heavy convoy losses the situation seems encouraging, since the gulf is almost blocked and Axis air superiority, thanks to Japanese and especially to german interceptors. Running from the mighty Japanese army, many troops found themselves dead thanks to a rain of steel from above.
On sea, one further major battle was won. A big combined BB/CV fleet, including 3 CVs and 3 BBs got sunk by the IJN, with no losses on the japanese side. the Soryu found itself aflame, though, and only barely escaped ravaging US bombing fleets.
King Jorian of Canadia was also defeated on sea by superioir Japanese forces. Most parts of Canadian navy were sunk or set aflamd. Canada is out of the game, the IJN is the undisputed naval super power.
Current projections suggest that with the ongoing success of Axis forces in America that the allies are ready to fall. The IJA has been on steady advance, and paired with Brazilian and Italian forces plus the security from above by germany victory is almost assured.
Hirohito will look forward to the next sessions, as they will be the most decisive in Monday game 6.
