Ah, but just a word of warning. Alexx - or any other - for that matter shouldn't review the game stand before they have been assigned a country. Examining the nemys status might create an unintended advantage for the upcoming action.
Yep, if you intend to join Allies, look only at possible options among them. France, Japan, Greece, Nat.Spain, Iraq, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Netherlads, Belgium, Brazil, Bhutan or Nepal. Do not even load as UK or USA.
OK, let's assume Isebrand takes Com. China. There's no reason to look at the comintern contries then.

I don't see why Japan is no longer wanted. Did the puppeting ruin their economy? THere is still lots of fighting to be done in China and against SU.

No, seriously: he wants to switch to Com. China to continue the cooperation with the SU (wooops! That's one statesecret out of the bag!). Or putting it differently, he would like a rematch for the control of China and Japan, I think. And he can't do that as a puppeted Japan.
But if you object that his knowledge of the japanese forces and tech etc. would be an unfair advantage you may have a point. It can't be a very big advantage IMO, but it is a valid objection if you insist.

It should be pointed out that Japan has ~60 divs in its SR box (inlcuding 4 paratroopers), plus a few planes and a transport ship. Plus one transport plane. Because of the long marching times the paratroopers are essential for fighting in China (as the Sovjets and British might have noticed).
The reason why I want to switch to Com. China: In the given situation playing Japan is way too easy and therefore not much fun for me. With open transport routes Japans economy will be booming and it is fairly well teched (thanks to Germany + Italy). With US air-support it should be able to get back China in no time and make a nice advance into Sibira. Even when Japan was fighting the Allied + SU it did look quite good until the US invaded Japans mainland.
Summary: Any additional player should probably take over Japan. Japan is still a strong power and could make a crucial difference for the Allied.

Yes, they were annoying. But not problem for long, since without able fighter force their destruction (transport plane(s)) was only matter of time. You might noticed UK tropical insects seeking them outIsebrand said:

Yep, I was surprised by the range of your fighters. Anyway, now British fighters plus US fighters should destroy SU planes in no time and open the way for the feared Japanese airborne divs.
But if someone should play Japan, why not you? I don't think it will be too easy because the SU only has the Allies to worry about now, so more of his army can be used in China.

If we can find no replacement player for Japan I could also continue playing Japan.

@Donkey Kong - yes, we do. If Isebrand still wants to take over red Chinese, you can take over Japan (or other Allied country). I don't have last word here though..
