Interesting session in a different way than the previous ones.
Communiqué from the ministry of armed forces of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics:
From the beginning of 1942 to early april 1942 the Red Army has launched a number of successfull attacks against the fascist enemies of the Soviet Union. Through deceptive maneuvers, the evil germans were expecting the Red Army to attack in Prussia where heavy fighting had taken place in the late 1941. However, the skilled Red Army instead launched a stunning blow against the axis countries of Romania and Bulgaria. Opposition was swept away by the Heroes of the 3rd army supported by the 1st shock army, 6th. army, 2nd. motorised army, 1st mechanised army, 1st and 4th tank armies and Southern Front armies 1 and 2.
While the facist army of Romania took up positions for an anticipated attack on Ploesti, the Red Army advanced on and captured Dobrich. Bucharest was simultaneously secured by paratroopers and later reinforced by the follow up forces from Dobrich. After that action the germans invested their own forces heavily in the area, but the german high command was unable to match the intelligence of the soviet supreme commander. Ruse and Varna in Bulgaria fell after brief figthing. The scene was thereby set for a massive assault from 4 directions against Ploesti where app. 25 romanian divisions had taken up defensive positions. They were powerless, however, against the valiant soviet infantry and superior tanks.
After the fall of Ploesti, Romania was liberated by the Soviet Union and brought into the family of soviet republics. The jubilant masses spontaneously collected their gold and jewelry to pay for the erection of a statue of Stalin in their capital of Bucharest. With its meassures being 11 meters tall and made of 3,459 tons of concrete and 54 meters of steelbars, it stands to be the second largest statue of Stalin in the world! The romanians ofc. are proud of this sign of eternal friendship with the peaceloving people of the Soviet Union!
This grandiose victory for the Soviet Union was magnified by the comparison of a failed british attack on Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Soviet commanders in the sector observed with disbelief how poorly the allied forces performed. Comerade Stalin has now invited mr. Churchill and his general staff to Moscow for a demonstration of the basics of conducting a war.
In Asia, the trecherous japanese joined the axis alliance and immediately advanced on soviet territory. All attempts, however, either failed miserably - like the 3 division amphibious assault on Kamtjatka - or were abandoned by the japanese at the outlook of massive casualties.
The Soviet Unions heroic forces of the far east, OTOH, retaliated by seizing Jiamusu and Jixi in the japanese puppet state of Manchuria, cleverly commanded by comerade Voroshilov. Japanese forces also spent massive efforts at capturing the northern half of the Sakhalin insula only to see the southend of the island captured by the intelligent soviet special forces.
