I notice that there are portraits for court advisers. Do monarchs and generals also have portraits? I think that would add a bit more colour to gameplay.

Most CK portraits look better then I do

But looking at the screenshots so far, if there are rulers portraits they will be very different then the ones in CK (which are perfect by the way for that game)

As The Patrician said in the first post the portraits of court advisors leads one to believe that monarch portraits are a good possibiity.

I always thought previous EU games lacked the 'human factor' and monarch portraits together with some sort of trait system would certainly help.

Cool, they have courtier/advisor picture in EU3, but no Monarch pics ?

I really hope all historical Monarchs & Leaders have portraits

I can't wait to see a portrait of Henry VIII when I click on the English diplomacy screen (assuming it'd be there), or of course, pictures of Marlborough & Wellington

PS: A picture of Charles II of Spain would look very, very odd indeed. Incest :rofl:
