Do Monarch stat-reducing events last just for that monarch or for their set length of time irregardless of how many monarchs ascend to the throne?

However, I think there was some sort of bug relating the insanity event and the aristocrasy slider

There was a disacussion in the bug forum a while back that when you had the insanity or the excellent minister events ,then the reductions and additions by the aristocracy slider would cause the game to substract or add wrongfully at the expire of the event.

That meant with the excellent minsiter your monarch would have a worse diplomatic rating after the event expired because the game woudl subtract 'wrong'


I'm not good to explain this in a clear manner but the thread should be traceable in the bug forum

Louis XIV got insane for the 2nd time now, and he isnt even 20 years old now i´m glad there´s Richelieu

Actually technically shouldn't Louis XIII get Richelieu then Louis XIV gets Mazarin? I'm aware there was some overlap but still, for gameplay purposes . . .

Which is a shame, Mazarin wrote an excellent book "Bréviaire des politiciens" that I find even better than the "Principe" from Machiavelli...

hehe, how true. i somehow miss the old civ2-mulitplaying days on gameleague - civ3 will never be the same even with the multiplayer update......erm gold version. they should have sticked to civ2 it was awesome.

time to say that it was a great decision from paradox to NOT change too much from EU1 and just fix and add like they do.
