So I really don't understand monarch age. Often my rulers die in their 40s and sometimes even younger. In my current game my last ruler died at over 80 and my current ruler is 81 (was inaugurated 54 years ago). I don't mind this because both rulers are quite good but what imagine it being the 0/0/0 starting heir from Spain or so.
How does the game calculate when to a monarch dies? I know making him a general increases his chance of dying. My 81 year old monarch is a general and he is still happily living.
Is there some text file in the EU IV folder that explains how the game kills monarchs (and heirs)?
