Ok, so there I was, exploring around Africa as Germany. It's about 1500, I'm the only European to have reached the New World, and did so just 2 months before I landed an army to poke around Africa. After I "discover" Kongo, the following message pops up:

"Maya has declared war on Kongo"

Kinda just one of those moments when you have to scratch your head, laugh, and continue subjugating the masses.

Can tell you what happened there - someone colonized it and then the natives destroyed the colony. If you look at the colony's culture, it will be something like "castillian" or "english".

Champa had ended up taking all of Southeast Asia (not the islands), and Rajputana, which had taken about half of the Indian subcontinent inherited it.

I got Incas offering me alliance as Castille...And I did know for one of their provinces from the beginning,although I didn't went to the New World yet,and it was surrounded by Terra Incognita.It was still 1.0 then,though...
