Most of the Mogyer/ Hungarian dynasty names found in vanilla did not exist in either 867 or 1066, but turned up in much later periods. This is already shown by the fact that most of them end with -i / -y, and in Hungary this method (naming by place of origin, for example, János Hunyadi = János of Hunyad) was first used in the formation of surnames in the XIII century. Previously, all genera (= dynasties) bore the name of an actual or fictional ancestor.
However, not a single genus (dynasty) name is known in 867, and not too much in 1066. Therefore, the most historically authentic source is the Gesta Hungarorum (a chronicle written by a so-called Anonymus, a XIII. century chronicler) and the scientific works based on it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gesta_Hungarorum. He wrote about the genealogy of the kings of Hungary and of their noblemen and listed the genera (dynasties) that claimed that their ancestors arrived in the Carpathian Basin with the Hungarian Migration. This was then either true or not, but no other method can approach the actual truth closer than this.
Based on this, I would recommend the following list for dynasty names for Mogyers:
Nyék, Megyer, Kürtgyarmat, Tarján, Jenő, Kér, Keszi (the seven founding tribes, same as vanilla)
For dynasty and cadet branch names for Mogyers:
Kalán, Keled, Borsa, Kán, Csák, Osl, Katapán, Szalók, Baracska, Csanád, Kartal, Ákos, Káta, Karkász, Vérbulcs, Lád, Botond, Zoárd, Ajtony, Csolt, Kaplony, Balogsemjén, Maglód, Gyulazsombor, Agmánd, Aba, Örösőr, Bors, Szolnok, Bicske, Tétény, Bikács, Bés, Koros, Alap, Pok, Kölcse, Alpár, Tas, Szabolcs, Huba, Apor, Baksa, Bána, Bél, Bő, Csór, Jákó, Kacsics, Monoszló, Örkény, Türje, Szemere, Szovárd, Zák, Balog, Csemely, Szentemágócs, Rosd, Nádasd, Geregye, Tátika, Záh, Kökényesradnót, Kolcs, Lőrinte.
For dynasty and cadet branch names for Hungarians in 1066:
Do not use the tribe names (Nyék, Megyer, Kürtgyarmat, Tarján, Jenő, Kér, Keszi), but the former list can be supplemented with the genera that came to Hungary from other nations after the adoption of Christianity (after 1000):
Tomaj (Pecheneg origin), Gutkeled, Hontpázmány, Héder, Győr, Hermann (German origin), Rátót (Italian origin), Bogátradvány (Bohemian origin).
