I haven't played hoi4 since crusader kings 3 came out, however yesterday I decided to boot the game up for the first time in a while. However, when I opened the launcher it gave me an error(just said error twice) and none of my mods playlists showed up. Upon further inspection, all of my mods were gone. I looked into my paradox docs folder to find the mod folder there, but not the mods_registry.json file. I've tried unsubbing/resubbing to mods, reinstalling the game, and getting mods from the paradox workshop but nothing works. Please help!
Mods_registry.json file completely missing?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
First off, be sure you have ALL the previous updates installed. The latest version is Collie v1.10.1 (dd56) for the game, and Launcher v2020.13.
In Steam, turn OFF any/all beta versions.
You may have to update the Launcher more than once.
It appears that mods_registry.json is no longer needed, as my Windows, all DLC, tons of mods with the current updates no longer has it.
You may also want to check the Tech Support forum, there are many people with similar issues that the Tech folks have helped: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forums/hearts-of-iron-4-tech-support.952/ .
One of the things Tech support almost always says is to delete this file.
The Launcher/Game used to recreate it, but now doesn't anymore, at least where I can see it.
