I usually like to mod the games I play, but especially with strategic games I am wary and seriously question gamers know better than devs how to balance, also I often lack the knowledge or information to judge for myself.
So are there balance or even just visual/fancy stuff mods the community can suggest to me?
In the case of balance mods, I'd like to also hear possible downsides that might turn off people. Like, "this balance mod right here improves space battles but makes weird changes to strategic play", something like that IF there are downsides you know of.
