Hi, I got a few Mods from the Steam Workshop, some of them - although they appear in the Mod folder - are not shown in the Starter Mod Box, so I cannot play them. Is this a known problem? Any ideas on how to fix this?

There have certainly been issues with mods taking a long time to become available, in my case up to a week. But I can't see how they could be in your folder yet not show. What about in the games Content - Mods menu, do they show there?
