mods no work help

Yes, it happened to mee too. Try this:
1- launch the launcher
2- remove all the playsets
3- unsubscribe all your mods. WARNING it takes as long as install them: check your "loading STEAM page" to see if done. They may be stuck on waiting line....
4- verify on launcher that all mods are gone.
5-clear the launcher cache (SETTINGS -> CLEAR USER DIRECTORY)
6- go to "C:\Users\User (or the name you use on your computer)\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\mod" and erase all files
7- install again the mods
