Hi with this patch 1.1 I am experiencing following problem :

Mods are not displayed in the Mods section under options. Therefore I cant activate any mods. I currently have only 9 tiles available. And under the mods section there are only those 3 standart mods like infenite. I did download some mods from the workshop, and of course those which were labeled as 1.1 compatible.

What can I do now? I need at least those 25 tiles. 81 is ideal.

If anyone knows this is a common problem please answer to this post.

thanks guys.

I realized this here to. All my mods are listed under Workshop Objects. None of the mods were listed under the true mods section. I checked up steam, and yes all folders are named with numbers. I will dig into it later, but actually this is very annoying. They need to fix this.

I only need this 25 tiles mod, and the simulation overhaul thing. Hopefully I can find them in steam. But where is the main mod folder of cs? Is it also under steam or is it under my personal files in Windows... because there is a Colosal Order folder to. But its 100% empty.... 0 Bytes.

The mods should be in your steam directory\SteamApps\workshop\content\255710. The mod folders are named after their id in the steam workshop. The 25 tile mod should be either 413498678 or 405810376 - both work in 1.1. I'm not sure if the overhaul mod works, please check the compabible mods thread about that.
Just copy the whole [$randomnumber] folder of the mod into Yourusername\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods. It should now be visivle under mods in the game.
When this bug gets fixed, you'll likely see a warning about duplicate mods in the start screen. Then you can disable the mod, delete it in the mods folder and only enable the mod located in the workshop directory.

@ TotalyMoo & CO: I've never started the game with mods disabled, I did unsubscribe and delete the incompatible mods though. Two other infos to help to chase the bug: Both my workshop amd game files are located on the same disk (C). I also deleted and re-installed the game content after the update to make sure that no other content which may cause problems was in the game's directories.

thanks for that answer.

But here in windows 7 there is no such folder as you mentioned it : Yourusername\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods.... under my username there are only my documents saves games, my pictes my videos Intel links and some other folders...but not a folder names AppData.

But under Myusername /My documents ( in German: "Eigene Dateien" ) there is a colossal order folder including only a CS subfolder. But no mod folder .

Well I'll add a Mods folder to this one and I will try your advice later.

I found the solution to my very specific bug. I did move my installation path for the game and subsequently the game files from my game HD to my SSD via Steam some days before patch 1.1. It turns out there was a file called appworkshop_255710.acf left in the workshop directory on my game disk. This file contains the info about the installed mods. So my game did download only the mods I installed before I moved the game path.
A file by this name is also in the workshop directory on my SSD, but it looks like the game only went with the older one. Interestingly enough there is also a file called appmanifest_255710.acf, which was correctly deleted and is found only in the correct Steam folder on my SSD.
Deleting the old appworkshop file made the game download all the mods I subscribed to.

tl;dr: appworkshop file in old workshop installation path caused trouble - Saul Goodman now :)

Ok Thanks. Should I deinstall the game via Steam or via Windows?
That link doesn't say anything about uninstalling the game ... but always in Steam.

Had the same problem, Windows 7 64bit Professional.

Changing download region did nothing for me.

Unsubscribed from all CSL workshop items, was a pain until I remembered seeing this post on Redit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/CitiesSkyl...a_unsubscribe_all_via_steam_workshop_browser/

Uninstalling game (first made Steam backup since I'm now on slow internet) and reinstalling it now seems to be working so far.

I don't know where it's storing the actual mod files but they are showing up in the mod section of the content manager now.

So just to be clear: uninstall game, unsubscribe from all mods in Steam Workshop, install game - that was the process? You didn't have to delete any folders or files?

Yes, as far as I remember I didn't need to delete any folders. The only thing I'm not sure of is if the changing of the region helped IN combination of unsubscribing to the mods and installing the game or not. It didn't work on itself alone but it was in the process of what I did to remedy the situation.
