I just installed today's update to CCC and now trying to go to my mech bays does nothing. The game just sits there, not frozen, but doing nothing. I can go to other plaaces, and even talk to Yang, but no mech bay. The last time I played was just before 1.2, so not sure if it was the 1.2 update of the CCC update that broke it.

@Bacchus169, I'm assuming you were using a previous save right? One of the changes Don made was removing a few JJ variant mechs. Specifically those with custom hard point settings. This kept throwing errors, and caused mech lab visual issues.

These mechs are Grand Dragon (the one with the ppc), Banshee 3S (slower one with all the guns), Banshee 3Q (AC20 variant), Urbanmech-R60X, Zeus-6Y (B-Laser variant), and one other I can't seem to remember. If you have one of those mechs in your inventory, then that's the problem.

Fix:
  1. Revert back to dZ CCC previous version.
  2. Load up game
  3. scrap / sell those mechs
  4. sell any mech parts of those mechs
  5. Save
  6. Install new dZ CCC version
  7. Resume game play

@don Zappo - Just wanted to thank you again for your work (and also to your chief accomplice Ganimal) in bringing us this mod and compilation pack. It has made things much more challenging without just ramping up the hardness. Particularly in the early part of the sandbox campaign when money is very tight I often now have to really consider dusting off after the primary objective is complete and in this new version and a new sandbox campaign for the first time I was forced into choosing between likely bankruptcy and a more difficult mission than I wanted. Chose the difficult mission - an assassination mission - and after doing an end around run and getting the primary target (just) as the reinforcements started making their presence felt, I was forced into a fighting withdrawal back to the extraction point. Damage was starting to mount up and it was pure luck that my urbie crippled their most dangerous mech and in the end I was able to take out the reinforcements and supports without being totally crippled or pilot deaths (had some wounds, one guy down to a single point). So I got a good payout and the company's bank balance is back in the black. One of the most rewarding missions I have played. I only wish with HBS updates we could get bigger maps and be able to fight real company size battles... I'd love to be able to be a company commander in a PC version of the old table top Battle Force

By the way I am approaching the point of mech bay 1 being full so I will keep a watch out for the disappearing mech bug I mentioned before. Thanks again!!

Well, I decided to start from scratch by completely deleting my mods folder. I then downloaded the latest BTML and injected it, downloaded Modtek, downloaded the latest CCC including the update from today. Couldn't check to see if the mech bay was working, though, because the 1.2 skip tutorial dropped me right into a mission and I now had no movement cursor or indicator arrows. So now I stripped back to base game, which seems to be working, but I'm running a verify anyway.:(

editted to add: Verify found a problem, so this could all be unrelated to CCC. I'll need to reinstall everything for the mod, which I may not get to tonight.

So Deployments seem to be bugged atm. I started a new game, finished the miner mission, and went on a 1 month deployment right after that. However, I didn't get my monthly deployment payment when day 30 rolled around. In other words, even though I negotiated for about 2 million in monthly pay, I wound up losing about 160k at the financial report while the deployment was still ongoing.

Also, it is extremely important that you do a fresh install of 1.1.6. If you did this and have this problem, there is an add-on on the Nexus page to address issues of loading into mechbays.

that's being fixed right now, Don's making some adjustments so deployments are paid out at the end of the 30th day of each month, instead of at the finance report time.

Hi all, First thanks again for this amazing mod!
Now to the problem at hand. I downloaded the new version of the mod, for 1.2 from the link on nexus. Also the last patch. Deleted my mods folder. re-injected, made my mods folder. Placed the new version in there. Copyed the patch over the mods. When I start the game you see the green bar in the back ground and after a time it starts. Seems good so far. I select custom camp, make my adjustments including skip prolog, launch. I seem to start at the after 3 years mission. However my mech when selected to 'move" have on movement show up for them?!?. Any advice?

well I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I just get an endless load screen with the circle going around and aournd when ever I try a new campain. This is with a fresh install of game.

@don Zappo I updated to 1.1.6v4 and have good news and bad news.

Good news: deployment payments are working now.
Bad news: I'm not getting any more missions besides the initial one on deployments anymore.
OH NO! I feleaaed my testing version. I told ganimal I was going to accidentally end up doing that. :( I'll push a new patch in just a moment.

There have been a lot of people having issues with the new version of this mod pack. That is an unfortunate side effect of a lot of changes that had to be done to not only this mod, but the mods that support it. If you follow the installation instructions correctly, though, it shouldn't be a problem. Here are the install instructions:

  1. Update to Battletech 1.2 via GOG or Steam.
  2. Verify/validate your game installation.
  3. Grab the betab BTML and inject it: https://github.com/janxious/BattleTechModLoader/releases
  4. Delete the contents of your Mods folder.
  5. Install the base version of this Mod Pack.
  6. Install add-ons if you'd like (following the installation order in the article on Nexusmods for this mod pack).
  7. Install the latest update patch for this mod pack.
  8. Install hard mode (optional).
  9. Copy over the Metadatabase file from the /Mods directory per the installation instructions (optional).
  10. If you get the mech bay loading errors, install the add on to fix this issue.

No advice, but I had the same issue.

I have the same issue with no movement. Can only select jump jets and fly backwards in the first turn and then no further movement at all
Did you follow the instructions 3 posts up? If so, please provide your output_log.txt here when the error occurs.

Ok, after a verify of my install, complete removal of my mods folder, injecting the latest BTML, installing CCC and the update, everything seems to be working correctly. I can move, and the mech bay is working. :)
