1. Naming of Specie branch:
When I modify one of my specie, I always get the same name.
Thus if my specie is called POUF, I get in the end a whole list in the following form:
POUF
POUF
POUF
...
POUF
I would suggest that either an automated addition is made to the specie branch I just created or even better have the ability to enter a new name/ edit the new name, so that I can differentiate the 20 different POUFs I got in my empire.
2. Home System
From what I understand once you modify a specie even your own it is no longer calculated in the indegenous populace. Can the quick locate button, no longer point me to the original homeworld but to the new homeworld for that specie or one of those worlds that they inhabit?
3. Cycle locations
A secondary button would help immensely for colonization, army building purposes, production purposes, if I would be able to cycle through the planets in my empire that have the specie.
4. Info Tooltip:
Instead of saying the population count and the number of planets, it would be much more helpful, if it showed s list of planet name: number of the populace
Something like:
Planet X : 4
Planet Y : 7
...
Planet Z : 1
5. When modifying a specie, it would be nice to have a small percentage event that the modification failed and X trait changed to Y or brand new random traits were introduced.
This could be even special habitat traits like the specie is now irradiated or gets this X,Y,Z bad traits but gains tomb world habitability.
Or even better start a whole new event were the new specie might chose to migrate.
Example:
Horrible miscalculation in the modification of specie X has introduced this new traits to the specie failing the defined modification:
Options:
[Xenophile] - Welcome them to our empire
[Xenophobe] - Destroy the abominations
[Spiritualists] - Teach them our ways (ethics)
All - Do nothing (new specie event starts - like uplift - or brand new like suggested above)
6. If I choose to modify all my original populace, i now get 0 populace from my empire and modified amount of xenos. In this case can we just replace the original with the new?
