Hello all,
I recently started playing an EEP GC as Novgorod, with AI aggresiveness set to furious, just to see what would happen. Twenty years or so later, all of my original core provinces were in my enlightened grasp, after having to fight about 20 wars, none of which (OK, OK, maybe one) I had actually started. My rep was very bad, and the constant wars against every one of my neighbors eventually took its toll on my patience, so I decided to tweak the savegame file to improve my rep and lower the aggresiveness for a little while. It didn't work, as when I resumed my game my rep was still at very bad and the wars just wouldn't cease. Is there some little trick to modifying these files that I'm not aware of? I only modified the EUG file, would I have to do anything with the CFG file?
On a somewhat related note, does AI aggresiveness only determine its likelihood of declaring war against you, or would it also affect inter-AI wars?
If it matters any, I have EEP 1.2.4 installed over EU 1.05. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
