Yeah, the idea is a very good one.
I can do loads with that idea, you'd be surprised what it can lead to.
The images you posted were great. Images help an event LOTS, as it gives the player a real vision of what the event is about.
Yesterday while working on one string of events, I had a very simple idea, checked it out online and then dropped the events I had been working on, and then had a great time writing new events just from that one idea. Ended up in a ww3 almost, and from nothing!
The way I'm doing, and intending to do the mod is this. One single event happens, like Britain leaving the EU, Brexit.
Well from Brexit, a whole world of new stuff can happen. I call them forks, forks in events. One fork will take you to one place, take another fork, and you'll end up with something entirely different happening.
it is hard work, but well worth it, when guys post and say they are enjoying playing the mod... and you know... that is only ONE fork in that event chain.
No, I'll make good use of what you have posted Tera, I'll most likely collect the stuff, and then write a quick chain, making sure I don't miss out on anything you did, and I can post it here before I do the event writing.
