Now that Ireland is a part of the wEU, a problem has emerged. The Irish want the entire island to join the wEU. The UK will not like this, but many people feel that it is the right choice. We fear though that trying would provoke the British, and even the United States. What shall we do?
Choice a, nothing happens, (it really triggers the other events.
Choice b, relations with UK+100

Today the UK has refused to hand over Northern Ireland. Expecting as much, we had already prepared our protests against this choice. This hurts our relations with the UK, and even somewhat the US. The wEU agrees though, must must liberate Northern Ireland!
Choice a, We will free all Irish!

"Crash in Dublin"
Today, one of our anti aircraft guns have shot down an unknown aircraft about one mile from the Irish city of Dublin. Nothing is known about the craft, other then it was in our airspace. Further investigation will be needed to fully determine the mission of this plane.
Choice a, investigate.
Effects, trigger Dublin Incident investigation.
"Dublin Inncadent investagation"
Above is a picture of the plane found within the wrecked cockpit. The investigation has shown that the plane is in fact a spy plane that took many pictures of northern France and Ireland. The pilot was fount d dead inside, and a transcript log was found. The transcript included locations of our defensive forces, and of key targets. This will not go unnoticed.
