One of the points that American's seem to forget is that up until the end of WW2, America WASN'T the Global Leader of the "Free World". Before WW2, America was much more concerned with itself. But Since WW2, Certain parties in America took it upon themselves to become "The World's Policeman".
Personally, looking back through the lens of History and hindsight, maybe America shouldn't have done what it did to foster the "Cold War" for one. YES the USA was the causation of the Cold War in it's entirety. WE, the USA stabbed The Russian People in the back after WW2.
WW2, the European conflict WOULDN'T have been won by the Allies, and YES Emphatically, Soviet Russia and the Russian People did the MOST dying in that Conflict than ANY OTHER COUNTRY BY FAR. And what did the Truman Government do after those Russians gave so many of their lives for the western Democracies????
They FUCKED THEM UP THE ASS without lube of any kind. Yes, Stalin was a dictator. That is a fact. But the USA since Truman has and only does respect any and all international treaties ONLY IF THOSE TREATIES SERVE THE AMERICAN POWERFUL.
There is an old saying: Power Corrupts and Absolute power Corrupts Absolutely. The Electorate in the USA is still kinda naive and it doesn't get the fact that WE THE PEOPLE have allowed the Corrupt to be placed into Power by the Corrupt themselves. BUT we still Don't want to do anything about it. We still just want to watch Football on a sunday and watch those "great reality shows" like Survivor and the Karkashians all the time. WE don't care what anymore when our neighbor get hurt or attacked by a criminal or if our neighbor's children get killed at SCHOOL. We just keep burring our collective heads in the sand or we fall off the deep end and turn to the logically silliness of Evangelical and televangelical crap! WE want to rewrite REAL history to remove the actual parts that show how far we have moved to the Political Right side of the political spectrum.
And just to make clear, the RIGHT side of the political spectrum is where the NAZI's of Europe are located at.
One of the things that Made America so great after WW2 was the concept of Giving a shit about the down-trodden. Caring about "Your fellow man". NOT about how much profit you can squeeze out of the naive citizenry.
SO YES some Americans are Rightfully ANGRY at the persons who think they represent the General American Citizen. BUT those persons DO NOT represent the General American Citizen. THEY represent what is fundamentally wrong with the USA.
Corporations are NOT PEOPLE!!! period, end of statement. IF one looks at how Corporations were designed you will emphatically note that a Corporation is a group of people entering into an agreement so that those persons LIABILITY FOR FINANCIAL LOSS is mitigated, meaning lessened, if the "powers that control" that Corporation get too greedy or violate the Tenants of "Good Citizenry". Meaning that the Citizens respect other citizens and don't take unfair advantage financially of those same Citizens who are the rela causation of threat Corporations Wealth and existence in the first place.
