@novapaddy Nothing happened with the sound? I don't have. Now try to insert the logo and let the music later, maybe, maybe(?)

Hello JulianSol, I've no sound and I've no ideas...

I can take an mp3 song and it works directly in the mod, so maybe Bink is doing something to the music track? Could the low quality of the images be stopping the music somehow?
I suggest starting the music in the video first, then 2 second later, the images... ??

The problemis thatthe video startstogether with the music, butinsteadof frames, black. I have tried to makethe musiclater, butit didn't work.

UPDATE:
2016 started with an undefined crashing in the mod, but going back to a recent (old) version cured the crash, and I'm back on track already. Sometimes I wonder if this mod is every going to be done... !!?? Are the gods against me, is Zeus playing with my head?

I'm starting to realise that I'm the type of guy who does not give up, I keep going regardless and laugh off difficulty. Watch out! Nova's about! Maybe I just want to play this mod.

So, what have I been doing?
Well I'm the type of guy that will change things if I don't like them, or like the way I did them the last time, or whatever. So I changed the techs considerably. I added more attachment brigades and more units too, but dropped some units as well. Why did I do this? I did it because lots of techs didn't really relate to anything in particular, they looked and read great, but I went back to a simpler approach. I did say I would go back to a simpler approach a couple of weeks ago.

I had problems with a image software batch processing program, which worked fine and was supposed to be free (?), but after using it 1000 times (1000 images) it started ruining the images, with the images looking fine in the folders, but absolutely wrecked in-game. This has and is still causing me problems. I had to remove the software totally in disgust! They even wanted money ... :rolleyes:

So, where am I now?
The mod does not crash.
The mod plays fine.
I have everything done, the units, the techs, most of the images are ok, the ai is done, the scenario files are done.

Right now, I'm adding units to the techs, this will take most of today.
I then have to go looking for missing/broken images where needed.
I need to look again at the skiffs, as I have new blank spaces appearing for new images etc.

So, what next?
If I can get the units activated and working;
If I can get the images and skiffs looking reasonable,
I'm then set up to start event writing again, Jeez it must be a month since I wrote events for this mod.
The time lost due to undefined crashing is unbelieveable, but THAT TIME IS OVER now.

Am I on track for a release soon?
Well I don't want to release a piece of shite, after all this time and effort AND CONTRIBUTIONS from you guys, I want to create something I can be proud of, something you guys will want to play and enjoy. So that question is too early to tell. Ask me at the end of next week.

No, I don't need any software. I just went back to using the old reliable, irfanview, as good as any.

Cannot get the video to work with sound, works as a video, but still no sound. ??

I think the last one is the video. Do first the mod and after u can add the video if you find a solution as an update :')

I have one robot unit and I have the techs in the future techs. But it was hard to get information... NOW, with your post and links, I have more information. It was an area of the techs that I had left as I was undecided as to what to do.

I'll have another look at the future techs before I release the mod. THANKS
