let all join at once and you have a cripple union for years - every year one and you just have dissent like in the energy events.....considering the market regulations in the EU there could be an event every time a member joins where you pay sat 5000 supplies for the nation to join or take a 8-10 percent dissent hit - when all have joined say in dunno 2012 or whatever you still have the event every year - pay up 5000 supplies (stock butter, scrapped beaf etc) or lessen your subsidies for farmers 8 percent dissent and let the price rise avery time after all nations that WANNA join have joined


by the way i noticed china CHC starts with a western MBT - thats what that is - but then when i played russia i recently in 2006 found out that they now had 4 western MBT's......WTF!?!?!......they cant build them....i couldnt when i was commie china - how come the AI can??? or are those MBT bought!?!?

oh and the EU has riots maybe....3 dissent or pay 700...security payments police salary etc....a multinational newbie in the age of information and nationalism aint gonna be fairly stable until 2000 and duh....hehehe......the huge IC, the mmassive amount of techteams, leaders etc comes at a cost!

Belarus and Ukraine had nuclear arsenals when they became independent after the downfall of the Soviet Union. They are however, destroyed, or given to Russia. South Africa had nuclear weapons, but destroyed them after the ANC came to power.

Anyone heard of Trans-Dniester? A breakaway province of Moldova where the Soviet Union just continued. It is the location of a major Soviet millitary base and weapons storage. I watched a TV documentary about suitcase nuclear devices missing from the storage, and where the film-crew tried to buy weapons acting as a terrorist group. However, this may be exaggerated, as Russia has troops there to keep order...

now that you mention kazakh and ukrainya i remember....they didnt have the knowhow - money or guts to keep those weapons slowly rotting away without proper maintenance

Trans-Dniester - yeah i remember that mess - jeez - well the same goes for Grusia!? - georgian breakaway mini state? and the mess there - nutz, like 30-40.000 people there...

ny the way - sorry i forgot i had taiwan china-tagged so china inherited 3 western mbt's - but the first they start with which i beleive is an error right!?
might wanna change the 3 inherited via event or delete them in the annex event.....army conversion costs maybe or let the chinese pay a sum to have them converted.....half of them maybe - rest is scrapped..


by the way had a better idea abot the EU - when eu inherits members - only have the capitals be core - they get a respectable IC - and manpower - no messy events besides energyevents, they have the backing of most cityfolks - metropolitans - countryfolk dont like them - they are only owned not core so the ic count doesnt go up the roof - simulates also the huge amounts they pay farmers etc - no full use of the IC there plus of there is unrest the partisan count rises like in palestina in vanilla - but you might wanna write that explanation in the first post so people get why it is so...

using the unlimited thingy is the 5th? step

if you have just installed without instructions you might experience problems with saving too (crash).....read the first post my man

Wow that was fast! I just wanted to edit my post.

I think I found the problem; the preinstall made a copy of an already installed version of DD (or something like that), which was version 1.5. So MDS is also 1.5. That's why NTL doesn't work. I can't put 1.3 over it, since it automatically detects a version of the game and tries to patch it (I have several DD copies on my disk; one for 1914, one for MDS and one vanilla DD for normal WW2 stuff).

Ideas?

hmmmmm............messy........got enough diskspace? i would make a clean install of doomsday and patch it to 1.3 etc..,..the mds makes a new folder anyway...whatta you others say? :D

the update only updates the version in the original doomsday folder anyway.......wait a sec....NTL.....you mean the top button with "not working" in the main menu.......got that too - doesnt mean diddely while you play

okay wikinger - ill read your problem again and see if i can make sense out of it......*sigh*

i would simply ask you to make a clean one and follow the steps........and remember to add the savefolder (copy from the original doomsday to make sure its named correctly)

if you have any problems then scream and ill do something to try and help you or something a bit more drastic maybe......syufff your mouth maybe with a grenade......naaaaaaahhh kidding......i just suck at this but cant simply make myself not help if i can.......a bloody freakin curse sometimes...
