It's annoying democratic nations can't declare war!!!!!!

That's not true, you only have to be more ressourceful to accomplish it. You can increase another nation's belligerence with spies and move the sliders towards maximum hawk lobby and interventionism so that 1 belligerence is sufficient for a declaration of war.

Just think of this as an added roleplaying hurdle - you have to give your countrymen a very good reason to fight if you are the one starting the war.

db/ministers/ministers_rus has Putin as the head of government. Well, i'll try to reinstall DD and install 1.3a and then download the mod again. Thank you anyway!

Hm, I'm no modding expert but the only other place I can even remember where the starting cabinet is also defined would be the /scenario/mds/russia.inc-file. However, in my version of MDS the ruling cabinet got omitted there, apparently the entry in ministers_rus.csv is entirely sufficient. And if you don't have the correct russia.inc, all sorts of things would be wrong with the country, as all the starting bases and units are listed there. :confused:

You could try to search that file for an answer, however.

That is how it would look like (that's taken from the germany.inc of the 1936-scenario):
headofstate = { type = 9 id = 1 }
headofgovernment = { type = 9 id = 2 }
foreignminister = { type = 9 id = 3 }
armamentminister = { type = 9 id = 4 }
ministerofsecurity = { type = 9 id = 5 }
ministerofintelligence = { type = 9 id = 6 }
chiefofstaff = { type = 9 id = 7 }
chiefofarmy = { type = 9 id = 8 }
chiefofnavy = { type = 9 id = 9 }
chiefofair = { type = 9 id = 10 }

Could somebody of u event writers make to all the ex-Yugoslavian countrys a event that gives them cores on the rest of the ex-Yugoslavian countrys??
But that only a human event, the AI chance to get cores will be 1 and for nothing 99%

Do you understand me???

Bump:)

Such events are a lot of work, especially if they are supposed to be gradual expansions reflecting how much the player has conquered. Also, it is really unrealistic to give a country additional cores on ex-Yoguslav territory when in reality all those people hate each other's guts. Is Yugoslavia even in the game as a playable country?

Same problem, same answer: Such a file shouldn't exist after a successful MDS-installation. All I've got is a "naval_bomber.txt". Are you sure you installed MDS into the new folder created by the preinstaller?

Jup. Same here. Even if I copy the files for just one new sprite model (German Infantry f.w.) and do not even change the country.csv, I get a message that some sovjet battleship is missing.

Can somebody solve this common problem?

Erm, no there won't be any such event, you ruthless powermonger;) We're trying to keep this as realistic as possible.

The mod is still being worked on, however I'm in a standstill because our forum is down, so I can't access some material I left there. Oh Killerrabbit, where art thou?:D

I have no problemt anymore I found out that the T-55 file should be changed to T55 in the folder called Palette. Try to look after the Sovjet Battleship.bmp file maybe the file does not have the correct name in the folder.
