Thanks:D

I play as Bosnia.
I have conquered Croatia and Slovenia.
What should i do now?
All neighbours have better armies then me.
I am building 4 factories.
And 1 tank division and 1 air unit.
What should i do now?

/Hax:D

I'd suggest you don't build any more factories. It's not worthwhile as such a small nation (as mentioned earlier) and you could use that IC on infantry (or motorized) or something similar for further conquests.

Does anybody here speak japanese?

As the only major, Japan is lacking military leaders. I have tried to find information, but nothing is available in english. If anybody can find leaders for us, we would greatly appreciate it. (No modding skills required, just finding names, pictures and preferably rank, although we can improvise a bit if there is no info on ranks.)

Please, if you speak japanese, lend us a hand. :)

well their 'ground defence force' (aka the army) was formed in something like 1954, so its not that recent.

I don't mean to be repetative, but could you at least give us a general time frame? If its not going to be completed until after HOI3, then I hope it will be easy to convert it. For me, at least, a wrong timeframe is better than none at all!:;)

it was june of 2008

I actually do speak Japanese. And I already went through some of the sites of the JSDF regional commands. Rank and pictures of the leaders is therefore not a problem at all. The names however are a problem, since my knowledge of Japanese names is not that wide. I can read most of them, or I use my dictionary but you can read a Kanji in many different ways, especially for names, which can result in hundreds of combinations. So you can never be 100% sure of the name at all, unless hearing it or finding sources with latin transcription.

If you want my help anyway... well, I'd be glad to do it.
I really liked MDS 1.5 and I'm waiting desperately for the next version. Thank you guys for your hard work.

Perfect. :)

As for the names... I understand your problem, as I have studied chinese briefly. However, I think you can safely interpret them as you like, and then if someone native from Japan finds them wrong, they can correct them if they like. Even generic names is better than the WW2 generals without pictures we have now. ;)

Thank you so much for helping us out here. :)

Okay, so I downloaded everything I was supposed to, and went through the whole process listed on the first page. My version of HOI2DD is 1.3a, as is needed. Yet when I load Doomsday, there's no way to select the MDS! Am I missing something? I even made a 'save games' folder in the scenario folder. Is there some missing step to make it selectable?

I tried the both Installer links but when the dowloads completed my avast popped up and said they were troijans (listed as virus/worm no expert on these kinds of things). Is this a false alert or what? Please help I'd like to play this mod very much.

It's an false alert.

Many anti-virus programs identify all "cracks" (small programs which alter the original .exe) as malware or trojans without actually checking it. The installer includes a no-time-limit patch which you need to play past 1953.

There are no viruses, spyware, trojans or anything that will do damage to your computer included in the installer. 15.000+ downloaders can confirm this.

If your anti-virus program disables the no time limit patch, you can try an alternative here:
