You need to patch your game with the timelonger patch beacuse the hoi DD motor only works to 1955.
Then you must upgrade it so it can be longer.
So you must to choose the hoi2.exe file in the MDS folder and patch it with the timelonger patch

Just double click on the no time limit. The no time limit will ask you to locate the HoI2.exe. Choose the one in your Modern Day Scenario 2 folder. Then the no time limit will overwrite the default set enddates inside the HoI2.exe. If you had the right version of doomsday it will give you a message that the patching succeeded. Now you can play the game.
Probably beating a dead horse here, but I've been having an issue playing due to the Per2003 file... first with max-staging distance, now with another portion... what should I do?

Run the setup one more time. It will install the game. The no-time-limit patch should appear when you have done this.

I don't mean to be repetative, but could you at least give us a general time frame? If its not going to be completed until after HOI3, then I hope it will be easy to convert it. For me, at least, a wrong timeframe is better than none at all!:Then why don't you finish it for us?

But it takes years for making a garrison.
I am making 4 factories and 1 air unit and 1 tank.

Thats how the game was made mate. It ain't vanilla with major Colonial empires to reduce the number of nations, it doesn't has few leaders and its well past the time frame in which the game would run smooth in vanilla. So, live with it or conquer Africa.
Also, in all honesty factories aren't worth building if you aren't a major, since one factory only gives 0,5 IC, so your better off with spamming either land troops or a lot of Multi-Role fighters.
