About the crash I had it at 8th April at 23 o'clock. I had this problem also in Total Realism Project Beta0.5(not so often once a year). The problem is i think there is something eating the resources like hell, and that's why the game freezes irregularly when changing day(this is when game recounts much things. (don't think this is because of the color pictures - i have a Hoi "workversion" where i tested the tech trees and model pictures and everything else i've made - and it's working well without crash and at normal speed ).
So I have two ideas:
a,problem with leader file. i see that US has color leader pics. Hoi had always problems with leader pics - every version produced crashes irregularly 4 me when i searched between leaders.
b,too many countries needs too much resource which the HoI engine can't handle.
I'll test that ideas see what will be the result.
another problem:
-US has no tech team slots!
and last thing:
I'm very happy to see such a strong Hungarian Army: with 3 full strength divisions and 2 fighter groups. wow!
Nice to have feedback and I hope you realize this is an alpha, meaning it's virtually unplayable at this point.
The slowness I've encountered myself. The amount of data created by 170 countries might be too much for the average computer to handle.
I thought about this being the reason for the crash, but I just hoped it wasn't and continued. What do we do then? Remove some ten-twenty countries??
About Hungary,
They have an army of approx. 25000 (ok, I'll tune down a division).
The airforce has 29 MiG-29s and 44 MiG-21s, so two squadrons should suit perfectly. (I take the remark sarcastically...)
The oobs are the guilty ones when it comes to slowness. The tech trees and such don't cause much work for the computer, but the armies of 100+ countries and extras do.
