Oh! Now I see Le Boehm's explanation for all that crap I complained about earlier! Sorry! :eek:o

It does speed up the game and prevent that horrendous CTD, but it makes the prewar years boring seeing as how the only thing you can effectively do is research and trade.

Hrmm, I followed the instructions, I think, and I can't get it to work.

I downloaded the mod, installed. Downloaded 1.2 patched, downloaded 1.3 patched, downloaded new no time limit mod, patched file. Can't get it to work. Any help? More info needed?

Well, when I try and run the HOI2.exe that has been created as the Modern Day Scenario, it tells me that I need to install the latest milestone, and then the program crashes before starting up. I'd be happy to install the latest milestone, but I'm unsure of what it is. When running the other HOI2.exe nothing shows up under single player. I'm willing to wager that it's goof up on my end, I just can't figure out where I went wrong, I tried reinstalling and running through the steps again, but met with the same result.

Did you update DD to 1.3a before installing MDS? That might be what it means by "milestone."

And i have some ideas to limit military spending of countries like Brasil, that have a large IC pool and IRL they cant keep a large army.

One request to all: please don't put files on Rapidshare - it's very cumbersome to get them (always have to wait in cue - at leat 100 min - with no sure it will download). I use Savefiles but other servers also works well (eg Mediafire).

Well others don't. I searched for hours to try to find the answer to your question. I haven't found it yet. There are 240 pages and no search feature, and Google doesn't even begin to help. Any chance you could repeat the post or at least say what page you found the answer on?

No. For CW Carrier (CV I) you need the 'Carrier Warfare' Doctrine and for CW Nuclear Carrier (CVN I) you need the 'Floating Airbase' Doctrine. The later Models - bot CV and CVN just need their predecessors.
