BTW, "gfys" is not an insult. It is simply a command to engage in an anatomically difficult act. If I wrote you are a "FAH" you could infer an insult

Hi there! I'm having trouble installing the mod for Doomsday. I followed the instructions in the readme, but as soon as I load the game I get the game over message, leading me to believe there's a problem with the no time limit patch. Is there anyone here who can possibly help me out?
EDIT: I managed to fix the error, but I found a mistake in the scenario. Ariel Sharon should be Israel's head of government and Moshe Katzav head of state, not the other way around. Also, Israel seems to lack events. How about adding in the 2006 Israeli elections?

A great mod, I must say. I've not played it much because a lot of ministers and such are missing and because of the bugs, but I like the idea of a modern day scenario very much.
However I have a couple of questions/suggestions of enhancements (correct me if I'm wrong):
Why is China Stalinist? Compared to Stalin's USSR or China under Mao, I wouldn't consider China stalinist or even communist anymore, just look at the market economy and capitalism.
Why is Cuba Stalinist? Yeah, I'm probably biased because I'm a leftist myself, but I would rather set Cuba as a Left-Wing Radical country.
Why is Iraq and Libya Fascist? Saddam's Iraq and Libya would rather be Stalinist or Paternal Autocrat with high Planned economy and Closed society IMHO, Saddam was (is?) in fact a great admirer of Joseph Stalin (just look at his mustache!).
Why is the swedish Minister of Security Thomas Bodström a "Man of the People"? I would rather set him as a "Crime Fighter" or something, I don't think he was rather loved by the swedish people while he was in office (some critics even compared him to Hitler).
I would also consider adding the swedish actor Sven Wollter as a Head of State and Head of Government for a communist Sweden. That would just be so damned cool...
Anyways, I hope you all keep up the good work and finish the complete mod someday. If I had some skills in modding I would gladly have given you a helping hand.

I completely reinstall DD and patch it to 1.2
I unpack the MDS2 Zip file
Run the preinstaller... this creates the folder Modern Day Scenario and that is it
I run the installer
All the mod files are installed
But there are none of the required core files
What is wrong?

The USA only controls half of its original territory -- the rest is controlled by partisans.
The AI apparently chose all the worst possible options in the events, and it led to this. I saved the game, quit, then re-entered the US and the dissent was "75%".
Was it just luck or was this by design? This is my second game at around early 2007, but I didn't check last time. In my game, the US directly annexed Iraq and Syria and never relinquished direct control -- would that have to do with it? Or does it happen even if Iraq and Syria are puppeted because of constant suicide bombing?
