I have a problem when loading MDS. I am told that I need the HOI2.exe file. I have found the file but cannot seem to open it and thegame crashes when I use it.

Check if you got the lasest patch..

Check if there is any traces of other mods and delete them..

Reinstall DD and then install MDS..

Try again and again til you get it right

I didn't read the whole thread, so if this was mentioned before, be gentle

Shouldn't Romania have territorial claims on Moldova?
Oh, and Finland on the karelia/the territories it lost in ww2?
And China on Taiwan?

China and taiwan will have claims when they go to war (through events - same with the two Korea). And mostly Russians live in Karelia in these days (as sombody said in the forum).

the problem with the crasing game contiues after i loaded, i have also installed the emkeien mod is this maybe a reason of crashing or could it be something else ??

Dutch Rommel.. It could be caused by many things... but you should definetly get rid of Emkeinen before you install MDS2... Then if it works afterwards then you can install Emkeinen

Every time I start the 2003 scenario I get the end of scenario text... I applied the no time limit patch on every exe file I could find

but the same thing happens...

do not use the no time limit patch. (it is not working for Doomsday. that's why there is the Doomsday timepatch. (doomsday v1.2.exe)

I found it pretty odd too that I have to use the vanilla no time limit patch but I thought it's supposed to be like that

you don't need that for MDS.
(but this and the Doomsday timepatch can be found at mdshome/downloads)

A question: Why hasn't Germany the 2000 Techs for Infantry, Motorized and Mechanized? The same thing is for the UK.
Another thing: The German model for the 2005 tank tech is Leopard 2A9. In my opinion it should be A6.

Well. Thanks to your advice samu, I got the game working, but after about a day or so, in computer time, the game crashes. Can you help please. Are there any files to remedy this. (I have patched it up).

Does anyone got some tips for playing USA?

In my current game i've annexed Iraq & Syria, but i can't liberate Syria... Right now Im shipping troops to the Iranborder to prepare for an invasion, but my first goal is to lower the dissent and modernize the army... But all the suicidebomber events got my dissent over the 50% and Puerto Rico & Buffalo revolted. So that's kind of hard. To lower the dissent.

did you installed 1.2? (because it lowers the dissent effect)
anyway, you will got an event with the option to leave syria and iraq. That will end the insurgent attacks.
