Militia - Partisans/Geurillas
Marines - Marines
Mountain - All-Terrain Troops (10th Mountain Div)
Paratroopers - Paratroopers

If we change motorized to airmobile will they be able to be loaded into helos or is that hardcoded to the para slot only?

And what about foot infantry? Most of many armies will still be foot based infantry.

Also when you say APC cavalry does that mean regular mechanized infantry like the US 3rd or 4th ID?

Finally what about my idea of using the cavalry slot for an export equipped unit for 3rd world nations?

TO H345:

the Ronald Regan would still be building when the game starts.

The 82nd would be a para division and the 101 would be an airmobile division.

The question is how ready for war are they? The Iowas are not like they were in the 90s. From what I understand the New Jersey and Missouri were removed from the naval lists in 1999 to be memorials.

The battleship slot is going to be changed to cruisers but I suppose we could put a battleship or two into this slot as well.
After all I was planning on a battle cruiser or two maybe even a new battleship.;)

Foor infantry would not be present. Countries with foot infantry will just use the Partisan/Guerillas, or the all-terrain, since most countries with foot infantry use those types anyway.

Export Gear under Cavalry is a good idea. The 82nd and the 101st would both be Paratrooper divisions, not Heli-Airmobile.

The 3rd Inf and the 4th Inf would be in the Inf slot, now a motorized.

No countries will start off with Mot (now Airmobile), and nobody will start with mech (Heavy APC Cav).

Hmm, they are mostly foot infantry in Asia, but many of the infantry move (not attack) with APC or some vehicular support, and attack with motorized support (Refuel, Rearm, Light Arty), so naturally, the game would represent this as Motorized (Which should replace normal Infantry).
