The USS Reagan is ready for combat, already.
It was readied on August 1 or something.
but the start date is before it was finished so the Ronald Regan would stiil be in the construction queue
i am wondering about the Iwoa's class bb's they are in the reserve so how would they be a unit or just in the force pool

If we change motorized to airmobile will they be able to be loaded into helos or is that hardcoded to the para slot only?
And what about foot infantry? Most of many armies will still be foot based infantry.
Also when you say APC cavalry does that mean regular mechanized infantry like the US 3rd or 4th ID?
Finally what about my idea of using the cavalry slot for an export equipped unit for 3rd world nations?

The question is how ready for war are they? The Iowas are not like they were in the 90s. From what I understand the New Jersey and Missouri were removed from the naval lists in 1999 to be memorials.
The battleship slot is going to be changed to cruisers but I suppose we could put a battleship or two into this slot as well.

Foor infantry would not be present. Countries with foot infantry will just use the Partisan/Guerillas, or the all-terrain, since most countries with foot infantry use those types anyway.
Export Gear under Cavalry is a good idea. The 82nd and the 101st would both be Paratrooper divisions, not Heli-Airmobile.

Hmm, they are mostly foot infantry in Asia, but many of the infantry move (not attack) with APC or some vehicular support, and attack with motorized support (Refuel, Rearm, Light Arty), so naturally, the game would represent this as Motorized (Which should replace normal Infantry).
What units?
Iraqi's would get All-Terrain (Becuase of the desert combat), and the Guerilla/Partisan units.
Yes, Bergsjaegar is now the All-Terrain (Bonus to all types of terrain, conditions) Foot soldier. The A-Terrain FS is going to have pretty low hard, and a normal soft attack, but they get bonuses in all types of terrain
I'm not going to give them any partisans, we'll simulate Baath-loyalist damage via events. The damage they are doing isn't that great, not really the same as Vietcong. Partisans are really for mountains, swamps, jungles, and forests.
