I believe I speak for the whole Moderate Party when I say that I am very, very sorry for all surviving kin of Sir Fox and his family and friends, and offer my condolences to those stricken by this evil blow.

The timber company was bought by MP member Michael von Streusser, the CEO of ENDTech (Eutopia's Defense Industry) and private industrialist.
With the recent difficulties in our timber, coal, and fishing industries, Michael saw an opportunity to invest in these areas at a real value anticipating an economic turn around.
I think you'll find the Moderate Party very sensitive to environmental concerns. While no one among us (that I know of) is out there spiking trees, I think there is a strong belief in conservation, recycling, waste-reduction, and preserving clean air and water.
If you have any specific environmental questions, feel free to ask and we'll do our best to answer you promptly. It is true that I have recently purchased coal, timber, and fishing companies that were on the brink of collapse. Many of these small operations were essentially "mom and pop" local companies, and therefore were not terribly sophisticated, due to lack of capital. Some of the previous owners were not terribly concerned about our environment, and didn't have the money to support true conservation efforts anyway.
I am, however, extremely environmentally conscious. I would like to invite you to tour some of our facilities with me at your earliest convenience to see our operations for yourself. We are replanting trees and observing cutting standards based on age of tree and number of trees cut per square mile. We are also careful to protect our nations waterways.
My purchase of these companies has allowed me to put the kind of capital behind them that will enable the utilization of such ordinances, as well as keep our citizens employed. I thank you for your concern.

I would be more than happy to tour your facilities with you. I am so glad to hear that you are so environmentally conscious. So many people nowadays aren't, you know. Whatever time is convenient for you. You have more depends on your time than I. Being Semi-retired, I have plenty of time.

How about the coal mines and logging facilities? It will be a good start and we can always look at other facilities at a later date. I will meet you at your office in the morning if that is okay with you?
