I've seen a few of these on multiple sites asking for modding guides, but no one ever answers. I've seen one or two mention a streaming guide but don't provide information as to where to find it. So any way, Any chance anyone knows of a modding guide?, aside from the wiki one, which is very incomplete. If there is a stream of the devs showing off modding can I have a link please, or at least pointed in the right direction? Thanks.

Not as yet. looking for that myself. I can only change values for modifiers, even get a list of current modifiers... but i'm struggling with understanding scopes and where to actually mod them to get any result (apart from that it says somewhere "in any file").

Yes, thank you, it helped a lot but after reading that I'm still stuck on trying to understand Scopes and where they are defined.

I probably don't even understand them - more precisely I'm stuck on trying to make a correlation between:
1 - political influence monthly and either number of governors (that modifier doesn't exist) or num_of_provinces (I'm trying that as a Law - be it tribal or whatever)
2 - number of clan chiefs linked to the same - number of provinces
3 - how to make any modifier depended on whether there is:
a) a port
b) a city/megalopolis (i think it's got a modifier: established_city)
and that would be both as a law and governor policy.

I can't get my head around that :)
Is it because that's impossible at the moment?

As far as I know, that wouldn't work, no. The modifiers are a lot more static than that, I'm afraid, forcing you to use specific numbers instead.

hahaha :)
what a...
:)
OK... I'll do it more "manually" - depending on number of provinces in a specific, static range haha - longer way and hoping that will fit in the Laws tab - it extends but i think it's got a limit somewhere (unless I had a broken code and that was the reason why it stopped displaying my last options).

Thanks -

and maybe to developers : could you do something about that?
