Modding the HOI II Font

Hi,

How do i mod the HOI II Font?

I know it's a peculiar bitmap (HOI II/GFX/Font/) but is there an editor or someway i can easily compile a font of my choice into such a format or must i painstakingly edit the existing font bitmaps pixel by pixel?

i was wandering the same thing. Obviously there must be somthing, but finding it is another thing.
