Any way to stop the intro where the camera changes angles over the map of Europe? I hate how the Alps look like they're a hundred miles tall while it's moving. I don't notice it after all the options pop up, but my eye is always drawn to it right away.

The camera controls are in the defines.lua file near the bottom.

What do you mean with "doesn't work"? Are they landed? In my experience, sometimes the game can't build family relationship of non landed characters, because he can't create the main branch of the dynasty.

You didn't add their death dates. It might be the reason, too.

They are landed but no matter what I do, they always show up as kinsman rather than Son.

Please try again with only one landed character. If two characters have titles in the same rank, the program might confuse by decision of the main branch too.

Also, you don't need " " for female = yes. In addition, you don''t have to write "add_spouse" line for the wife, if you have already added it in the data of her husband (duplicated!).

Could anyone test if the Fairy and Changeling icons are right? [there are other icons in there and dont need worried about, they were just already uploaded for something else]
For me they just come up in game as blank spaces between the other traits and i cant work out why. Are they encoded wrong or something or am i just missing something obvious?
Capitalisation and names are the same between the trait and the gfx file, its all in the right folders, tested both in moddirs and base game and i cant think of anything else to try.

Can anyone explain how dependencies work?

Is it possible to assign traits based on the month a character is born? I'd like to add traits for each zodiac and when a character is born they get one based on when they born. Random adult characters would receive a random zodiac.

You can make a event that fires as soon as they're born

mtth=1day NOT={age=1} NOT={trait=zodiac}
that has a if={ limit={ chain that checks the month and produces a corresponding zodiac for the baby.

It shouldn't be too hard.

If I remember correctly, that error appears in everyone's log files regardless of if they use a mod or not, it's a vanilla error that seems to have no effect on the game. Usually it comes up 4 times instead of just the once though.

Anyways as someone who's never modded before how would I add in titles that could be claimed by Muslim heretics to make their own Caliphate and have their own religion heads say with 1000 prestige or so a Druze or Yazidi or whatever can proclaim himself Caliph and be head of the their religion. Would it even be possible to do something like this? Thanks.

How can I make it so that any female ruler can change the succession to true cognatic? I tried swapping

This did not work. What did I miss?

Oh, and where can you change the opinion modifiers from having high prestige and/or piety? I didn't find anything in the 00_opinion_modifiers-file.

Laws apply to titles, not people, so you're actually checking if the title is female now, which will obviously never be true.
You have to leave the holder_scope part in, to check the holder of the title instead of the title itself.
It should be like this:

What i'm wondering is, where can i find the name of the title that is displayed in-game?
I've found some titles in the localisation directory, but not all.
Or does the game simply strip the 'c_' and capitalize the first character if no localized value exists?
