Graphical bugs has never been my strong side, does anyone have an idea of what the cause of this could be?

It's either because of a corrupted gfx\interface\modifier_icons.<tga|dds> file, or the wrong frame count in spriteType GFX_modifier_icons. Which is listed in interface\province.gfx instead of anything character-related, for some reason.

(Quick tip, so you don't have to count those manually: divide the image width of the icon strip by 28 to get the frame count.)

Leader titles need localization. You can't define those directly in /landed_titles/.
title = <key>, title_female = <key>, and foa = <key> simply point to the localization entries that those should use, and it sounds like you haven't added them yet.

If something's missing from localization, it simply outputs the key. Which is what's happening there.

Technically, you can use the above to skip localization in some cases. But that's bad practice and should be avoided. Because the game will attempt to look up the localization anyway, and then use the key as a fallback when that fails. Not very efficient.

As for the brackets, you can always do a quick search and count for { and } in Notepad++. If there's an uneven number of brackets, you can be sure that the code won't work. ...or you can download the BracketsCheck plugin. If you're like me and for instance keep typoing ] instead }, that'll save you a lot of time and restarts.

You can put them in any localization file. Personally, I try to keep those to minimum, and just use a single file for all of my mod localization. Makes it easier to check for duplicates.

Just use the same format as you used for the k_rhun localization.

Okay, so now I have figured out it seems to be all merchant republics seem to marry random lowborn mande women. Any explanation on this? Are Mande first on a list or something on who merchant republics marry?

You could remove "short_title = yes", but this will turn it into the Kingdom of Rhun in other contexts.
What do you mean it will change into the Kingdom of Rhûn in other contexts?

Now if I were to put in Loke-Khanum as well as Loke-Khan, in order to differentiate between male and female rulers, would I also need to add in 2 FOAs, one for each?

Also what purpose does the FOA serve anyway?

EDIT: I also tried to create the title using console commands, yet the title still doesn't exist. Something about the k_rhun.txt file isn't working properly.

I have checked, double checked, triple checked, and quadruple checked. I have seen nothing as to why it still won't show up as a formable or forcibly given through the console. I am so frustrated about this.

What do you mean it will change into the Kingdom of Rhûn in other contexts?
short_name cuts off the "Kingdom of" bit, and it's used for titles that already incorporate that sort of thing into the name (for example, the Bengal Empire). Removing it will cause Rhûn to be referred to as "Kingdom of Rhûn" in appropriate contexts.

You should also match your capitalisation on LOKE-KHAN for the localisation, and add in localisation for the FOAs.

I'm sorry I cannot help with your main problem of the landed title file not registering. Have you checked the logs?

Here is the current code I use for the k_rhun.
I have checked, double checked, triple checked, and quadruple checked. I have seen nothing as to why it still won't show up as a formable or forcibly given through the console. I am so frustrated about this.
There's still nothing seriously wrong with it, just like last time. You have two foa entries when only one should be used, but I doubt that it's enough to break it.

Either the character who's trying to create the title doesn't meet all requirements (capital held, plus matching culture and religion), or you have some problems with the mod structure.

If it's the latter, you should probably just archive and post the whole thing here. No way to check otherwise.

What did you fix in the localisation? I should probably remove the use_short_name = yes to get rid of that pesky of the issue with the title. Other than that, you have no idea how happy you have made me. I am literally tearing up at this.

Okay so call me insane, but after this I had wanted to create a bunch of events for the formation, and expansion of Rhûn. I am looking at event modding but I was curious, could I simply copy a lot of events from the Mongols and tweak it as I see fit?

Now if I were to put in Loke-Khanum as well as Loke-Khan, in order to differentiate between male and female rulers, would I also need to add in 2 FOAs, one for each?

Regarding the FOA:

FOA is "Form of Address". It's things like "My Lady", "Your Majesty", "Your Holiness", etc.: how you would address the person, based on their primary title.

Create 2 entries in localization:
LOKE-KHAN_FOA;<your male form of address>;<your male form of address>;<your male form of address>;;<your male form of address>;;;;;;;;;x
LOKE-KHAN_FOA_female;<your female form of address>;<your female form of address>;<your female form of address>;;<your female form of address>;;;;;;;;;x

Remove the LOKE-KHANUM_FOA line from the title. It's not needed. The game will automatically add the "_female" to the LOKE-KHAN_FOA tag when needed. And if you don't have a separate female localization, women will just use the same FOA as men. (Kings & queens are both "Your Majesty", but barons are "My Lord" and baronesses are "My Lady".) The base game only has separate female FOAs for barony & county titles.

Only edited , as mentioned before by some poster, LOKE_KHAN and LOKE_KHANUM.
Lower _ and capitalised for it to be identical in localisation and the file in landed_titles.
The localization edit wasn't required for it to work as such. Only for the title to appear correctly.
