Is there a tool or another easy method to change province ownership? Alt-tabbing into the game, looking at the name of one province, alt-tabbing again, searching for the province and changing the liege and/or holder, then going back in the game for the next province etc. seems awfully slow. For an "experiment" of sorts, I'm going to have to add a big empire in between the HRE and France, and manually changing every single province's liege or holder (because changing entire duchies at once has led to conflicting liege-vassal relations, making the provinces switch owners as soon as you hit the 'play' button) takes ages and is very discouraging.

Long story short, is there a way to change the ownership of multiple provinces that doesn't take ages?

That would be in common/defines.lua look for AGE_OF_ADULTHOOD = 16 or AGE_OF_MARRIAGE = 16.

I set that to be earlier and now even though they are adults and having kids and their portraits change at 14 instead of 16 people still ask to be the childs guardian even though the child is not a child anymore, where do I go to change the max age a child needs a guardian because I cannot seem to find it in defines.lua

You modified the portrait age. Look again and change what I told you to. (I know because I did the same thing)

Is there any way to change at what relation to their liege a faction member leaves its faction?

A faction filled with 50+ but under 80 relation members gets quite annoying when there's a massive rebellion every 20 years no matter how great a king I have :p

Is it possible to mod in different sets of pentarchies for different religions?

In Vanilla, all Eastern Christian religions (those with autocephaly = yes) share the Orthodox pentarchs. So a monophysite would have to compete with the Byzantine Emperor on these seats if he wanted to fill them in with his own religion. But we would like to have different religions have different seats, not necessarily compete with each other.

I doubt it is moddable... but who knows...?

I added this trigger to e_hre in landed_titles.txt but when I load my mod the HRE has disappeared from the de jure empires map mode.

The idea is that the Roman and Holy Roman Empires should be mutually exclusive, like the Roman and Byzantine.

Why's it doing this?

I know there was a mod that prevented Muslims from declaring Holy Wars against the Ethiopians and I can't seem to find it. Not sure it would matter since it was for 1.06 when it was a heresy and not its own religion. Has anyone remade the code that disallows them from attacking them outside of one county conquests?

I think that's all, you can add new retinues just by editing the 00_retinue_subunits file. I did and it works perfectly.

I removed that section and it works again, so it must be that. But the number of brackets ought to be fine. Does the game have a problem with me not wanting the HRE to be creatable if Rome exists?

Thank you. I tried doing it before and for some reason the game crashed. Must have been something else.

New Question: Do anyone know if it's possible to modify a retinues attack or defense in a specific phase? All vanilla retinues have modifiers like +60%, could I make one with +200% attack in the melee phase specifically?

How would you keep people from being members of multiple factions?
You can prevent the AI from joining multiple factions easily enough. Just add a modifier to each membership section saying modifier = { factor = 0 in_faction = yes }.
Can't do anything to stop the player from joining multiple though, to my knowledge.

I removed that section and it works again, so it must be that. But the number of brackets ought to be fine. Does the game have a problem with me not wanting the HRE to be creatable if Rome exists?

It shouldn't do, I use the same line (e_tamriel/e_cyrodiil = { has_holder = yes }, etc) in the ESM mod without issues.
